Zebe and Tomasz at the Rocky Mountain RallyCalgary (May 26, 2008) – The Rocky Mountain Rally lived up to its reputation to be an eventful round of the Canadian Rally Championship.  Run over two days in altitude and difficult weather conditions, this year’s edition was a true challenge for the Mitsubishi rally brigade.

Still, two of its teams made the Top 5 in the final standings and earned two class wins.  Zbigniew Szewczyk and Tomasz Karzynski were consistent at the helm of their Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart over the country roads of the Kananaskis and Porcupine Hills, finishing third overall with a Group 5 victory.   Simon and Maxime Losier from Quebec finished a convincing fourth in their maiden western rally.   Jan and Jody Zedril drove to another P3 class win, widening their lead in the national standings.
